MotherBoard x HeyFlow : The Realities of Mums In Tech

An estimated 17,000 women left the UK tech industry between Q4 of 2022 and Q1 of 2023, with a further 3,000 leaving before Q2*. That's roughly 110 a day.

We want to find out why.

As part of a collaboration with HeyFlow, MotherBoard is launching a survey for mothers in the UK tech industry to hear about their experiences with the realities of being a working mother in tech and how employers treated them during maternity leave and return to work.

With this data, we are looking to be able to put a case forward to bolster the evidence for government bodies and the MotherBoard Movement in creating tangible change for mothers in tech.
