The Psychology of Voices ft. Amy Kean

We’re incredibly pleased to announce for our next MotherBoard Community event we’ll be joined by the one and only Amy Kean!

Amy is a creative sociologist, strategist, poet, best-selling author, TEDx speaker, self-professed weirdo, and all-around legend. She is also the CEO & Creative Director of Good Shout: a social learning company that helps people experiment with their voice, their talent and their thinking.

Good Shout has transformed many women’s voices, including Motherboard’s Founder. Amy’s revolutionary approach to creating unforgettable voices has helped women speak with conviction in meetings, improved public speaking skills, and enhanced women’s voices to speak up with power.

During this event, Amy will be exploring The Psychology of Voices. How we use our voice, when, and why we sometimes stop speaking entirely. Amy will be looking at the different mindsets and backgrounds that determine how we use our voices, and how we can all listen to each other more.

Good Shout recently launched the Good Return, helping women find their voices after returning from maternity leave. Something we have heard time and time again from the mums in our community.
Good Shout’s courses have been described as “transformational”, “life-changing”, “weird yet so wonderful” and “the best training I’ve ever done".

Who is this event for?

  • For women who have ever felt the fear of using their voice.

  • For leaders wanting to learn how to better invest in women in their teams, especially those returning to work.

  • For the allies who want to become hype people for women in their communities.
