Mentorship – Supporting Women in Tech

Our fifth MotherBoard event in this years series featured a panel talk and Q&A with industry experts and covered the importance of coding boot camps and mentorship programs. We discussed what coding camps are doing to entice more women into tech and also how to get the best out of mentorship (What makes a good mentor, how to find a mentor, importance of having a mentor). Overall, this was a guide for women looking to get into software development and also discussed how to support those who are looking to progress into leadership positions through vital support and guidance.
