The Retention Opportunity: how can we retain women in tech

We were super excited to be host our first in-person community event at Multiverse HQ in April 2023

With 50% of women reportedly leaving the industry by the time they are 35, we will be asking the important question “how we can retain more women in tech”.

We offered practical takeaways including how businesses can support their female talent more and aid retention, how businesses can offer an inclusive environment for mums and what we as individuals can do to support our peers and be advocates for women in tech.

Speakers included:

Sara Matthewman - Rightmove - Engineering Manager
Cecilia Nunn - Digital Catapult - Responsible Artificial Intelligence Manager
Marco Zanchi - Multiverse - Director of Engineering
Prachi Tiwari - Credit Karma - Engineering Manager
Viktorija Tosheva - Zone - Technical Architect

If you have not been to one of our events before, MotherBoard is a community for everyone who believes we need more support for mums working in the tech industry. We encourage everybody to join who is interested in understanding more about how to drive inclusion in the workplace.
